More

Ratchet straps are available in so many sizes and styles that there is bound to be a solution for any type of tie down application that you’re looking for. Mainly used for flatbed trailers, interior van trailers (often referred to as logistics straps for L-track or E-track systems), moving trucks, pickup trucks, and many other types of trucks & trailers, standard locking ratchet strap assemblies are commonly made from polyester webbing. This is an ideal material, as it is an incredibly durable webbing that is extremely strong with very little stretch to keep any and all loads secure. If you need a bit more stretch for your ratchet straps, we strongly encourage you to check out our nylon straps. We also offer buckles of other tie down hardware that you can add as you need it, essentially building your own custom nylon strap ratchet tie down.

Whether you need a general 1″ tie down strap with wire hooks or a heavy-duty 4″ ratchet strap with chain extensions, you’ll find the exact set of ratchet straps you need at Off Roading HQ!

With such a wide variety of ratchet straps that Off Roading HQ offers, you really can rest assured knowing that our products are all extensively tested and safe to use. All of the ratchet straps sold here have labels with marked working load limit information, also meeting several requirements, guidelines, and industry standards including:

  • Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA)  guidelines
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Web Sling & Tie Down Association (WSTDA)
  • North American Cargo Securement

If you’re in the market for a new set of ratchet straps but aren’t quite sure what you need, go ahead and take a look at our ratchet straps guide below. We’ll take a look at what size ratchet strap webbing you should get, as well as ideal end hooks for your application.

1″ Ratchet Straps

1″ ratchet straps are available on Off Roading HQ with a variety of options. With S-hooks, J-hooks and D-rings, flat snap hooks, spring action buckle straps, and more you’re sure to find what you need. An endless cam buckle strap is also available, which makes a great perimeter strap, meaning the strap is wrapped around an object and fed back into the buckle or ratchet to secure. Webbing material for 1″ ratchet straps sold on Off Roading HQ is always industrial grade for heavy-duty use.

2″ Ratchet Straps

2″ ratchet straps are commonly associated with E-track systems, but are also commonly used for flatbed truck and trailer applications along with for hauling vehicles. Here at Off Roading HQ, we have 2″ ratchet straps with wire hooks, flat hooks, snap hooks, chain extensions and many other fittings. If you don’t see what you need, go ahead and give us a call! We will do our best to find the ratchet strap that fits your needs.

3″ Ratchet Straps

3″ ratchet straps are also available on our store, and provide heavy-duty break strengths of 15,000 pounds. These heavy-duty ratchet straps are made for the heaviest applications you can think of, and only high-quality hardware is used. These ratchet straps are sometimes even available with chain extensions and either flat hooks or double-J hooks, and are typically available in longer lengths for more industrial grade situations.

4″ Ratchet Straps

4″ ratchet straps are also available as our strongest ratchet straps, and provide break strengths of 15,000 pounds and over. Lengths of 4″ ratchet straps are slightly more limited, as the range of applications for these incredibly heavy duty ratchet straps is considerably more narrow. If you need a ratchet strap that is uncompromising in strength & quality, this is certainly the way to go!

L Track & E Track Ratchet Straps Stud Fittings

E-track ratchet straps are 2″ wide and come in standard lengths of 12′, 16′, and 20′. E track straps are available with either cam buckles for pull-tight applications or with a ratchet. Are you thinking of installing a track system in your trailer? We offer a wide selection of & L-track and E-track components to work with the tie down ratchet straps we offer here on Off Roading HQ.

Motorcycle Straps and Tie Down Systems

Motorcycle straps are made with either ratchets or cam buckles and are typically 1″ or 1-1/2″ wide. Motorcycle straps can be used in tandem with track and fittings to tie down your bike and are available in quite a few different colors. Handle bar straps (sometimes referred to as soft loop tie down straps) and ratchet straps with loops are always available and ready to ship.

Webbing

The ratchet straps offered at Off Roading HQ are made with heavy-duty, industrial grade polyester webbing for extreme durability and little stretch. Widths of ratchet strap webbing are going to range from 1″ for more all-purpose cargo applications, to 4″ for truly heavy-duty applications. All ratchet straps should come with sewn-in labels depicting warnings, working load limits, break strength, etc.
